Who is responsible
Rotavoo is responsible for your personal data. For anything about your data, write to privacy@rotavoo.pt.
What we collect
The details you send in our forms (name, business, email, phone, what you need); if you become a customer, your account, billing details (name, NIF, address), orders, messages and files; and payment records (Stripe handles your card details, which we never see). We count visits to rotavoo.pt without cookies: only daily totals are kept, nothing that identifies you. Google Analytics runs only if you accept it.
Why, and on what basis
To reply to your request and prepare a proposal (steps you asked for before a contract); to deliver, support and invoice what you buy (our contract with you); to keep invoices and accounting records (a legal obligation); to keep our services secure and prevent abuse, for example limiting sign-in attempts (our legitimate interest); and Google Analytics and any marketing emails (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Who we share it with
Only service providers who process it for us under a data processing agreement: Amazon Web Services (hosting and email, in the EU), Stripe (payments), InvoiceXpress (certified invoices), Google (sign-in with Google if you choose it, our email, and Google Analytics if you accept it). Some of them may transfer data outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions. We don't sell your data.
How long we keep it
Requests that don't lead to an order: 24 months. Customer accounts: while your account is open; you can ask us to close it. Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as Portuguese law requires. Security logs: up to 2 years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent. Write to privacy@rotavoo.pt; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the CNPD, the Portuguese data protection authority (www.cnpd.pt).
